Missouri Basketball History

The Missouri Basketball team has a long and storied history producing several of the top NBA players. They seem to produce mostly tall gaurds that shoot and play defense well like Anthony Peeler and Doug Smith. Kareem Rush and Keyon Dooling were members of a generation of the team that saw some success in the late 90's and early 2000's.

These teams have had several good coaches. Norm Stewart coached the team for several years and brought the team to prominence. Quin Snyder took over later and brought in a winning style, but needed to step down. Eventually former Arkansas assistant and former UAB head coach Mike Anderson would bring the team back to it's winning ways and now it's Frank Haith at the helm as Anderson has left for his old stomping grounds in Arkansas. Haith has a great team and has so much talent that if he can get the effort Anderson did, he will do well.
