Kentucky Wildcats men's tennis passed two difficult seasons in 2007 and 2008.

It finished the 2007 season with an overall 13-15 record and 3- 8 SEC record. It also ended 8th at SEC.It also passed the 2008 season without any major achievement. For the upcoming season the team will return three rising seniors Bruno Agostinelli, Shane Collins and Kyle Virgin. Under the Head Coach Dennis Emery the Wildcats looks not so promising for the next season.

Kentucky Wildcats tennis had a tough 2007. In fact the Wildcat men dropped from 23rd at the end of 2006 (nationally) to 58th at the end of 2007. And, pre-season polls predict the Wildcat men's tennis team will finish last in the SEC East; the Lady Cats are predicted to finish 4th in the SEC east.

The head coach of Kentucky's men's tennis team is Dennis Emery. He'll have his work cut out for him, but is certainly up to the challenge. We think Kentucky tennis will surprise to the up side in 2008.

2009 Kentucky Wildcats Women's Team Preview

The Kentucky Wildcats Women's Team displayed good performance during the last two seasons. It finished the 2007 season with a 19-8 overall record,ranked 33rd in the country.The team also played in the SEC 2007 quarterfinals. The University of Kentucky team finished the 2008 season with a 16-10 overall and 6-7 SEC record,22 ranked nationally.In 2008 two players of Kentucky women's tennis team Sophomore Christine Johnston and freshman Megan Broderick were given SEC honors. Under the talented young coach Carlos Drada the team really looks confident for the upcoming 2009 season.
