Not sure if anyone saw this (trying to find confirmation of it with no luck so far) but towards the very end of the House Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection Subcommittee holds a hearing on drug use in sports sub-committee today, Vito Fossella, Congressman NY, apparently questioned Roger Goodell about Spygate.
The chairman of the committee apparently attempted to stop Fossella from questioning Goddell but he persisted. From what I have read (so far no confirmation on Youtube or any other media source) Fossella specifically asked Goodell to provide an update on investigation into the Walsh / Belichick illegal taping of the Rams walk through. Again the chairman interfered and indicated Mr. Goodell did not have to answer, but apparently he did.
He gave no update on the progress of trying to speak with Walsh and instead talked about how the Patriots had apparently admitted cheating and had been severely punished.
Sounds like more of the same from the NFL cronies- no addressing of the questions just reiteration of the past. They have no interest in seeing what Matt Walsh really knows.
