I have been to games all over--Nebraska, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas, Penn St., Michigan State, Florida, Oklahoma, even USC. By far, hands down, the "coolest" environment, and the best fans are in Lincoln, Nebraska!!!!!!!
Now this comes from someone who grew up in Detroit, and a Michigan fan. It isn't near as much fun going to the big house as many other places. The fans are rude and obnoxious, unclassy.
The SEC as a whole has it going on! I love the SEC. But the big red is the college football mecca. Classy, educated fans there in Nebraska--Go Big Red!
I will never forget the national championship in 1995--Florida vs. Nebraska (final--62-24 Nebraska!!!), or the 1997 Orange Bowl---Tenn. vs. Nebraska (42-17 Nebraska).
No one could stop that running attack they had--no one. Michigan could have tried that year, BUT they never played a team that averaged 400 yards on ground like Nebraska.
