2009 Alabama Roll Tide Golf

The Alabama Crimson Tide men's golf team ended 2007 ranked 4th nationally. The women ended up ranked 25th. So, Bama golf is obviously serious business. And, it's not just us saying that. The 2008 pre-season NCAA golf polls ranked Alabama's men's golf team 2d nationally.

In the Fall of 07, the University of Alabama's men and women's golf teams got off to a great season. The Men's team was ranked #2 in the coaches poll. The final tournament for the Alabama Roll tide golf team was set for the end of October -- the Callaway Golf Collegiate Match Play Championships.

The Alabama Roll tide Golf men's team is ready for the 2008 collegiate golf season. Coach Seawell believes they have a driving chance this year.

There are no injuries among the Alabama Roll tide golf men's team so their chances of winning are within their grasp.

With three freshmen, one sophomore , two juniors, and six seniors on the team this year they have done very well. The seniors, Mark Harrell, Ben Moody, Joseph Sykora, Gator Todd, and Stewart Whitt, all want their senior year a victorious one.

The Crimson Tide Golf men's team has been training. Golf clubs in hand and of course practicing those accurate shots.

In the 2006-2007 season the Alabama Roll tide Golf men's team grabbed four championship tournaments and bragging rights of course.

And the 2007-2008 rankings show them in 2nd postition. Basically, in simple terms, the Alabama Crimson Tide Golf men's team won 4 championships and ten top five finishes. The Alabama Roll tide Golf men's team on a roll again this year.

However, on a sad note, the Alabama Roll tide Golf men's team will be in a memorial service on November the 2nd. A former golf coach, Conrad Rehling passed away this past year and they will be honoring his memory. He was the Alabama Golf men's team coach from 1972-1988.

Alabama Women's Golf

The Alabama Roll tide golf women's team are among the top twenty in the coaches poll. Ranking at #13 they have continued with great effort and ultimate brilliance as the tournaments wind down.

The Alabama Roll tide golf's women's team consisted of eight team members all working together. Coach Mic Potter is proud of the women's golf team this year.

The Alabama Roll tide golf women's team has been successful in their tournaments too.

The coach of Alabama's women's team was coach of the year in the 2006-2007 season.
