Who is the all-time SEC single game rushing leader?

by Mike M
(Miss.)

Thanks to Tex Noel, 1st-N-Goal for this answer notice all 3 top rushing games were against OOC (non-SEC) opponents:

Back in 1978, Vanderbilt's Frank Mordica rambled for 321 yards on 22 carries against the Air Force Academy. More recently, Arkansas' Darren McFadden tied the mark against South Carolina, with 12 additional attempts.

FYI: Emmitt Smith, Florida vs New Mexico, 1989 (31-316) and Curtis Kukendall, Auburn vs Miami, 1944 (33-307) are the other SEC backs to surpass 300 or more yards rushing in a game.
