Ever thought being a sportswriter would be a dream job? I know I have thought that often. In fact, that was part of the reason I started this site. I don't have to worry about deadlines or getting published!! And neither do you. You can become a published sports writer today.
If you make a good-faith effort to write something useful and interesting -- you can get it published here on this site or at our other sports site -- Best All Time Sports. Unfortunately, we are not able to pay for articles at this time. But, that means it's a great opportunity for amateur sports writers to get experience and exposure. If you do a good job, you can certainly count on having a good reference from us. You will also get the credit for writing the article and if you write enough, we can even start a sports blog for you. And, the audience for this website grows every day. In fact, we are one of the top SEC Sports Fan sites on the web and we get millions of page views each year. So, maybe your talent will be "discovered" by publishing a story or article here at SEC Sports Fan or at Best All Time Sports.
You can write about any issue, team, or story relevant to any sport. Seriously. Between our two sites we cover every sport and team in the world. This includes college football, basketball, baseball; as well as professional football, basketball, baseball, hockey -- and every other sport as well. So, if your article is good, we will find a place for it. And, we will work through other partner sites to promote it.
Of course, for this site, we are particularly interested (obviously) in SEC teams. But, again, we can find a place to publish any sports-related article. Let us know if there is a particular team or sport that you'd like to be the editor for.
Please submit your article using the form below. Don't worry, the "Submit Story Here" box will expand as necessary. We will review the article and be back in touch with you shortly (usually within 48 hours). At that point, we will tell you if it will be published and where on the site. We will also get biographical information about you to post with the article.
Or, just use that same form to simply tell us you are interested in a sportswriter job. We'll get back with you.
Also, let us know if you are interested in becoming the editor of a particular page on either site.
Finally, we have implemented an option to build your own page on any of our sites. If interested, go to SEC Sports Fan Forum or Best Sports Forum.
As always, we sincerely thank you for your interest and support of SEC sports -- and other sports as well.
