...and calculate the number of teams in the SEC who play non-conference opponents on the road. The fact that 5 teams play NO road non-conference games is astounding, especially considering the "talent" of the teams that they play in those games.
Quite easy to make the case that the SEC is the greatest thing since sliced bread when every team is 4-0 out of conference against 1-AA and Sun Belt Conference schools (oops, sorry Alabama fans) when other conferences play tough out of conference opponents (props to Tenn for playing Cal, Ga for the series with Ga Tech, and UF for the series with FSU).
However, when was the last time Georgia played west of the Mississippi River in a non-bowl game? Check Florida for the same stat. Might make one realize how skewed the "power" conferences make themselves look at the expense of the "have-nots.
