Ohio State is obviously the best all-around school for athletics. In this decade alone they've been to 3 football championships, winning one (you can't win them all), basketball championship, soccer championship, frozen four in hockey, final four in men's volleyball (losing to eventual champion UC Irvine) and consistently finish top 4 in the country in wrestling.
The football program is tied with USC for the most Heisman trophy winners (7), 3 of the 4 largest stadiums in the country are in the Big Ten (Beaver Stadium, Michigan Stadium and Ohio Stadium) and 2 of the 4 winningest programs belong to the Big Ten (Ohio Sate and Michigan, the other 2 teams being Notre Dame Texas). These are just some of the numerous and blatant statistics (I didn't want to list too many, SEC fans can only handle so many numbers at once).
The SEC region of the country is full of ************************** fools who fail to realize there are far greater, more populous, more ACADEMICALLY/athletically dominant conferences and colleges to their north, east and west.
