Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Michigan Wolverines

This bowl game will be focused on Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez. Rodriguez is coaching to keep his job, as he has been seemingly doing since he arrived. This year he finally found the quarterback he was looking for in Denard Robinson. Robinson fits the bill of a prototypical quarterback in a Rich Rodriguez offense.

The task of stopping Robinson falls to the Bulldogs defense, a group that could be up to the task. Mississippi State can also run the ball effectively. If they get rolling, the Wolverines won’t be able to stop them. Rich Rodriguez has struggled to find a defense during his tenure at Michigan and it could be his undoing once again in the Gator Bowl.
