Boy, how does one pick between Arnie & Jack? Both have made such contributions to the game, however, my pick is Jack. Not only because of his record, but because of the way he conducted his personal life.
Given his hetic schedule on the Pro Tour, he always seemed to find time to be there for his family. There are so many memorable moments in both Arnie's & Jacks's careers that as I said it's hard to pick, but how can one that loves the game of golf not get a tear in their eye regarding the 1986 Masters when he tore up the back 9 on Sunday afternoon, and walked down the 18th with his son Jackie.
I along with many others including the media thought we'd heard the last of Jack and he was "over the hill!" I guess we were of little faith. After all, this was Jack Nicklaus, and we should have known better. Anyway, Jack, you are "the man!"
