You know as well as I do that you can cut statistics in many ways and prove points, but lets face it. When your conference has 12 teams, that conference has 1, 2, to 4 teams more than the Big Ten, Pac 10, or Big East that could end up in the top 25. So without all the history, all of the fan support, and not considering the amount of time each conference team has actually played Division I football, the SEC statistically has the best chance as do the ACC and Big 12 to have top 25 teams. Enough said here.
But please, remember the smaller conferences, i.e. the Big East and Pac 10, and don't go bashing them in years to come when they have 2-4, or 3-3 bowl records and start singing the tune that their BCS Bid should be ripped away. I was hearing this again this year when the Big East didn't have a top 10 team and the conference still ended up 4-2 in their bowls games.
Thank you
