The Georgia Bulldogs have hired a new linebackers coach, Kirk Olivadotti. Kirk Olivadotti has spent 11 seasons with the Washington Redskins as a defensive coach. He will replace Warren Belin who was with the Bulldogs for one season. Warren Belin went to Carolina Panthers to be a linebackers coach.
Kirk Olivadotti was the Washington Redskins linebackers coach from 2007-2009. In 2010, Kirk held a title "defensive assistant" by the Washington Redskins.
Philip Daniels who played for Georgia, praised Kirk's hiring and wishing him well. Todd Grantham who is the defensive coordinator for Georgia, coached with Kirk Olivadotti in Houston back in 2004.
With Todd Grantham and Kirk Olivadotti together, the Bulldogs defense should be better in 2011.
