The Georgia Bulldogs beat the Arkansas Razorbacks 60-59 last night. The Bulldogs are now 15-6, 4-4 in conference play. This win ended their 3 game losing streak. Gerald Robinson scored 14 points and Trey Thompkins scored 12 pts, all of them in the 2nd half. The Bulldogs are 7-1 when when its decided 3 points or fewer. Trey Thompkins made 1 out of 2 free throws with under two seconds to go.
The biggest lead for Georgia was 37-30 with 12:44 in the second half. The game was tied at 30, then Georgia scored 7 straight points to take a commanding lead. The Arkansas Razorbacks tied the game three times in the second half. Their leading scorer was Marshawn Powell with 16 points on the night.
Georgia will play at home versus Auburn on Saturday afternoon. Then next Tuesday Georgia plays Xavier in a nonconference game in Athens.
