Fulmer has been a great coach the emphasis is on has been. He no longer has the discipline, the fire, not the ability to be a great coach.
We need someone who can coach in the era which football is being played. Fulmer, like Holtz, Bowden, Joe Pa, and all the other older coaches needs to gracefully bow out at the end of the 2008 season. He has overstayed his welcome.
Mike Hamilton (a Clemson Alum) (no surprise here) should have had the intestional fortitude to make the change last year and kept Cutclife and Trooper Taylor and then we would have been seeing a different team on the field.
When you don't prep for the next year in the QB area this what you get and that you CAN blame directly on coaching and when you go out and hire some unheard of lame brain Offensive Coordinator who tries to install a brand new program during spring practice and so forth that you blame Directly on coaching.
Fulmer must either gracefully bow out or both he and Hamilton should be fired at the end of the season.
GO VOLS !!!!!!
