Chris Walker, #84, a defensive end from the University of Tennessee Volunteers is one tough player. In 2009, he battled injury all season long but still had a major impact on a weak team. He contributed 17 solo tackles, 19 assisted tackles and 6 sacks with 1 forced fumble and 2 interceptions, once scoring a 7-yard touchdown. He had a career high 7 total tackles against the Florida Gators in 2009. Rivals.com rates him at 5.8, deeming him to be a top 300 prospect with possibilities of a professional career.
Chris Walker will be one of the few bright spots for the Vols this year, but hopefully will help keep them out of the celler of the SEC.
