Billy Cannon: One of the best ever

I am a bit young to remember Billy Cannon, but my Dad always thought he was one of the best ever to play the game. He could do it all on the football field.

He hit a rough spot in the road, but overcame it, and appears to have led an exemplarly life since. A lesser man would have allowed this to crush his soul, Billy Cannon did not.

Probably a life lesson of perseverance learned on the gridiron.
