TCU? Not until you win the Big East. Boise State? Try making a chip shot field goal. Auburn vs. Oregon? Now this is BIG BOY football. We are now set to have the title game that everybody wanted. There could be 100 points scored in this game, by the first half!!!
Although not official, yet, Cam Newton will win the Heisman Trophy. He’s proven to be as tough mentally as anyone in recent history. With all of the allegations and investigations surrounding him, he’s merely been able to come back from behind against Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, and blow the cap off of the Ole’ Ball Coach. Whether by foot or by air, Cam Newton is the best player in the nation. And Auburn is the best team of the best conference in the nation.
Auburn will continue the SEC domination of college football. Oregon, though, will be an interesting opponent for the Tigers. The Ducks have put up video game type numbers this year. Although, when you look at their schedule, who did they really beat? Stanford is really the only team that you could consider very good. But Stanford is not LSU, Alabama, or South Carolina. Oregon will put up points on Auburn. But they won’t put up enough. They’ve been able to wear out opponents defense and assert their domination in the 4th quarter of games. By the time they reach the 4th quarter in the BCS Championship game, they will be down by too many points.
There will be no fake injuries to slow down the ducks. There will be a more formidable defense on the other side of the ball to do that. This may prove to be the most exciting games because of the amount of points that will be scored. However, the Tigers have been tested all year and have answered the bell every time. The best team in the best conference, plus the best player in the country, equals SEC DOMINATION, again.
