This should be one of the greatest National Championships that we have seen in a long time. In fact, I can definitely see this becoming and instant classic the same way Texas Vs. USC did.
This game should have all of the offense that any fan could want (though it seems like every time that is predicted, it turns into a defensive struggle). Oregon has the type of light-speed offense that is difficult to stop. Most people even say that it can't be stopped, only contained.
Auburn's offense is just as impressive as Oregon's. The key difference is that Auburn has one of the most unstoppable players in recent memory in the form of Cam Newton. Newton was a beast this season en route to his landslide victory in the Heisman race. Not only was he a great player, he was efficient and did not make stupid mistakes in the regular season that could hurt his team. That could be the key difference in this ballgame.
Auburn is much more battle tested than Oregon is when it comes to their defense, and that could be the deciding factor in this game. That said, Oregon's defense played extremely well against California, but again, that was against Cal's backup quarterback so it is difficult to gauge their true talent level at this time.
This should be a great game and I believe it will be remembered for a long time to come.
