2009-2010 Conference Bowl Records so far (as of Dec 30, 2009): Big East Conference

Just wanted to point out that the Big East Conference is actually 2-0 thus far in the 2009/2010 Bowl Schedule.
Rutgers & Pitt both won.
WVU, Cincinatti, USF & Connecticut have not played their games yet.

Editor's Note: yup, thanks, my mistake. i was thinking of miami as in the BE. fixed it. thanks again.

Thank you for noticing. From the second best conference to get a nod from the Best conference, it means a lot. Look out though, our little ol' 8 teams are sneakin' around trying to stay there.
P.S. Do you find the ACC as funny as we do? We will however let VT back in if they repent for their sins and admit they were just scared of WVU.

First off the ACC was 4-6 last year not 2-6 and if you go to espn they have the REAL bowl records and the PAC 10 has the best winning percentage not the SEC. Also as you can tell last year the ACC was 4-6 which if you add this up with very basic math that even an SEC fan should be able to do you get 10 which means the SEC didn't break the all time bowl appearance record of 9 they tied the record of 10 set by the ACC.

Pack 10 shmack 10, the difference between .535 (pac 10 winning %) and .533 (sec) is .002, any rational person familiar with statistics would find the difference meaningless. What I find much more telling from the same article you cited is the fact that the SEC has been in 369 bowls vs. 226 for the PAC 10. I suspect that this week's results may close that .002 gap! More telling than any other stat however, is the SEC's 5-0 record in the BCS championship game (soon to be 6-0).

Are you SERIOUS with this? When one conference has 2 more teams in it, guess what? They will have MORE teams eligible to get into bowl games. LOL....that's just common sense!

Are YOU serious? You are aware that until very recently the SEC didn't have 12 teams (thus no need for an SEC championship). Only an idiot would chalk up the difference in bowl appearances to the recent addition of 2 teams instead of to the real reason the SEC has been in so many more bowl games, The SEC is better than any other conference. Always has been, always will be.

I love exchanges with people as uninformed as you seem to be, like shooting fish in a barrel. What's your lame-o excuse for the SEC winning it's 6th BCS championship in 12 years (and with 4 different teams)? Come on, show me another conference that has done anything even close to that. Since you're obviously not an SEC fan why don't you leave this site and bother an ACC site (if you can find one)
